Are all men dogs?

I know a lot of guys. They're not really complex beings, but they are different. It's hard to find the good ones, but I know they're out there. Even though i've been with one who seems to think his zipper should constantly be in the down position, I still love the male species. I'm just not sure how to deal with them.

There is no way I will allow myself to believe that every man that was and will ever be born will be unfaithful. Do I think most of them are? Yes I do. I also think there are some that actually have redeeming qualities. They're fun, they can lead you in a waltz, they pick up heavy things, and have a part that a woman can put to use now and then. They'd be great if most of their brains weren't attached to their pee pee.

My father wasn't faithful to my mother. I have no idea how many siblings I have spread around the universe. I do know that one of them passed away recently. I never got to meet her. I don't know what she looked like. We probably passed each other on the street in the past. I love my father very much, but didn't always respect him.

I want my son to be the best man he can possibly be. He's doing well so far. He's very respectful and caring and I don't see any of his father's dog bones hanging out yet. I pray and try to raise him to continue to be the person he is today.

So, what do you think? Are all men dogs?

I feel you on this blog. I have been cheated on multiple times and it tends to make the heart hard.. But time does heal though.

I'm trying to start a new journey of self discovery. Hopefully at the end i'll know which direction is the best for me.

I don't want to believe that all men are dogs. I think we all have the potenital to cheat, more so men. There is something about us that makes us more compassionate and faithful than men. But I believe there are good ones out there. I know a few. Too bad they're family! That does me no good!!!

But I have to have hope that not all men are dogs. My faithful, loving husband is out there- somewhere....

Hi first time here....I have to answer the question here and after reading from you I have come to one conclusion....

That all men are dogs...truly. I have to say this because every relationship that I have entered the man has cheated on me...and as you spoke. I look at the men in my family ( dad, son, uncles, cousins....and friends) they all have more than one woman or still creeping.... what is it with men...are we women are not enough for you. I am a good woman that takes care of my man and all I want is for someone to keep it real with me...
and on the other hand...why is it that woman know that men are committed and they still stay attached. Why not leave our man alone......

Whew, Im sorry...I didnt mean to use your page to vent, how are u?

Hi I'm reading your blog after you posted on mine. I like that you're not male bashing. My dad, your hubby and father are possibly mirror images of eachother and I'm praying my brother doesn't go down that route. Like your son I don't see dog bones hanging out either. No I don't think all men are dogs. I am also of the school thought that says once a cheater always a cheater. I'm going to read on, ut felt I should respond to ur question

In the realm of cheating, no, I don't think all men are dogs. I think it depends on where the men have come from. If we find a man in the gutter, it may be where he was used to and where he may end up again. If we want a good man, I really feel that we need to look in good places to find him (house of worship). Not to say that it won't happen if they come from there cause all mankind is imperfect, but it puts you ahead of the curve for sure. Who wants to anger God?

My best, Lynn
